English Yew Shelves

English Yew shelves (awaiting their handmade bespoke black iron frame) felled and barn-dried in Cowley, Gloucestershire.

A great statement piece of furniture - the brief was to keep the rustic features of these planks whilst finishing them to a high standard as to compliment their bespoke iron frame.

These shelves were given a coat of linseed oil and non-toxic spirit to really bring out those gorgeous colours in the grain then finished with Osmo Polyx natural hardwax-oil for protection.
